✨ SEXUALITY & PREFERENCES: Ace is open to both men and women, although he may lean slightly towards men in general. He'd be most likely to sleep with someone his age (20) or slightly older than him, but this isn't a hard rule or anything. ✨ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Physical affection won't bother Ace, and he'll probably be physically affectionate himself with any close friends. With new friends, he might find it a little weird at first. ✨ HUGGING: No problem! Ace will be notably more warm than other people, but not uncomfortably hot to the touch. ✨ KISSING: This will probably surprise Ace, particularly if they're not in a close relationship, but he's not going to react harshly to it if not. ✨ FLIRTING: Definitely open to this, and he'll definitely flirt back. ✨ RELATIONSHIPS: Casual sex is one thing, and casual friendships is pretty easy too, but getting close to Ace might take some work. Loyalty and someone having his back is very important to Ace, though, so he could make fast friends with someone who demonstrated those qualities. ✨ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: This is totally fine, but Ace will definitely fight back, and he's very confident in his abilities. (Sometimes way too confident, actually.) ✨ DEATH: I'd really prefer to avoid this, but I'm open to plotting if you have an idea! ✨ OFF LIMITS: Insulting people he respects or his friends, implying people should be judged for the actions/sins of their parents, betrayal, or murdering a friend/crew mate (of any type). These topics aren't necessarily off-limits so much as they're gonna get a pretty passionate reaction out of Ace.

🔥 FIRST IMPRESSIONS

✨ VISUAL: Ace is 185 cm, or 6'1" tall. He's pretty muscular, but overall, his build is slight, he doesn't come across as a massive guy. Ace has slightly shorter than shoulder-length black hair, which is slightly curly (especially when wet), but not overly so. His eyes are brown. Notably, Ace has two tattoos: one on his left upper arm that reads A S C E down his arm. (The S is crossed out, though.) He'll entertain at least a couple of questions about whether or not the tattoo artist misspelled his name, but there is a good reason for the S (that he probably won't disclose). His other tattoo is much larger, taking up nearly his entire back, and is a skull and crossbones (with the crossbones in an up-and-down cross shape, like a plus sign, as opposed to the more traditional X), with the skull having a large, crescent-shaped white moustache. You can see his tattoos here. Generally, Ace looks his age, or at least somewhere in that 20-25 range. ✨ FASHION: Most notably, Ace doesn't wear shirts. If he does, it will almost definitely be an open, short-sleeved button down, but in general, he prefers not covering up his large back tattoo. He typically wears loose, comfortable knee-length (or just below) pants, and the guys knows how to accessorise: he wears a big necklace, bracelets, and a leg pouch. Ace also wears a big, bright orange cowboy hat. ✨ DEMEANOR: Ace is noted for his friendly and polite demeanor, but he's also a pirate, so he definitely doesn't have the same social habits as a noble. (It's really more like he's notably polite compared to other pirates.) He's generally carefree and gets along with others, which makes him easy to talk to. He mainly raised himself, which can leave him with occasional social slip-ups (the politeness came from actual Politeness Lessons that he sought out as a child, but even that couldn't cover everything). He'll apologize pretty profusely (and with amusement) if he does something weird, but generally, it's not targeted, he just really doesn't know any better. ✨ SOUND: "You've always been like this, Luffy! You've never even listened to me... and always done such crazy things!" ✨ SCENT: He probably smells like fire, ash, and sweat. He's a pirate, and bathing is not exactly a priority on the seas. ✨ MENTAL ABILITIES/DEFENSES: Ace currently does not have access to any of his Haki abilities, so this is not relevant currently. ✨ MAGICAL ABILITIES/DEFENSES: Ace is able to control the element of fire, which includes creating fire and turning his body into fire. For more details, please see the abilities section on my main info page. ✨ PHYSICAL ABILITIES/DEFENSES: Ace is a formidable fighter, even without his fire powers, which he didn't get until he was 17 years old. He spent his childhood training rigorously for life on the sea, and had to hunt for his food from a young age against large animals and monsters. Ace's primary weakness is water, particularly being submerged in still water. Any amount of water can negate Ace's fire powers, and being submerged halfway or more will make him extremely weak and potentially even unable to move at all. ORIGINAL CODE CREDIT
